Effective 16 August 2026
This page describes what Signal Check collects when you use it, what it does not collect, and which third parties receive data. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Your text is not stored. When you click Analyze, the passage is sent to an analysis endpoint running on Cloudflare's edge network. It is scored in memory and discarded when the request finishes. It is not written to a database, not saved to disk, not logged, not used to train anything, and not sent to any third party or outside model.
The scoring runs entirely within the request. There is no separate server, no queue, and no storage layer behind it. We cannot retrieve a passage you submitted, because no copy of it exists.
Standard network metadata for the request — IP address, timestamp, user agent — passes through Cloudflare as it does for any website, and is subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not join that metadata to submitted text.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and visitors. Cloudflare describes it as privacy-first: it does not use cookies or other client-side storage to identify you, and it does not track you across other websites. We see aggregate figures — how many people visited, which pages, which referrers, which countries — and nothing that identifies an individual.
Cloudflare also produces server-side traffic analytics for the domain as a byproduct of serving it. This is aggregate request data and contains no profile of you.
This site displays advertising in order to cover its running costs. Advertising is served by Google AdSense.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent choice before personalized advertising cookies are set. If you decline, ads still appear but are non-personalized.
Advertising is entirely separate from the analysis. Advertisers do not receive the text you paste, do not receive your score, and have no access to anything you type into the page.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information about you, to object to processing, or to opt out of sale or sharing. Because this site keeps no accounts and stores no submitted text, there is generally nothing held about you to access or delete. For anything relating to advertising cookies, the Google controls linked above are the fastest route. You can also contact us at the address below.
Residents of California may exercise rights under the CCPA/CPRA; residents of the EEA and UK may exercise rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
If this policy changes materially, the effective date at the top will change with it. There is no mailing list to notify, because we do not collect email addresses.
